Wonderful week in Daytona

With our family all together we had a wonderful week in Daytona.  Aislin turned 13!!!! Can you believe it?  We are now a family with TWO teenagers.

We gave her the shirt she designed herself, and she appropriately pretended to be surprised when she opened the gift.

She also got to go to an aquarium store and get a new aquarium and paraphernalia for her fish. Yes, we have a fishtank on board. And you should see the salesman’s face when we told him the dimensions we need (it has to fit in a sink underway), and the lights and pump all have to be USB/ DC/ Battery operated. But she found one she likes and we all enjoy it.

We also had many well wishers stop by our boat to visit.  

I do want to say a special thank you to all the friends who came out to see us before we took off.   Thank you Hannah and Ainsley for coming and spending a birthday weekend with Aislin. Thank you Debi and Roxanne, the Morgan family, the Homich family, the Lewis family, Pamela and Logan Sonne, Sarah, Larissa, Molly, Emma, Riley, the O’Brien family, and Mom & Scott (who stopped by to see us on their way back to North Carolina). We had a week surrounded by love and support and will carry that with us until we meet again. We are so blessed.
